Comprehensive Women's Care

Treatments & Services

Pregnancy, gynaecology, minimally invasive surgery and preventive health.

01

Pregnancy & Obstetrics

From planning a baby to the weeks after delivery — continuous care from one doctor who knows your history.

High-Risk Pregnancy Care

Specialist monitoring when a pregnancy carries added risk — gestational or pre-existing diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disorders, twins, a previous caesarean, recurrent miscarriage or advanced maternal age. Dr. Heer draws on more than two decades of high-risk obstetric experience in Armed Forces hospitals to plan each pregnancy week by week.

Normal Pregnancy Care

A calm, well-structured pregnancy journey: confirmation of pregnancy, growth and wellbeing scans at the right intervals, nutrition and supplement guidance, vaccination, and a clear delivery plan made with you rather than for you.

Antenatal & Postnatal Care

Regular antenatal checks that track your health and your baby's growth, followed by postnatal care covering recovery, breastfeeding support, contraception advice and screening for postnatal depression — the part of maternity care that is too often skipped.

Preconception Counselling

A consultation before you conceive: a review of your medical history and medication, screening for conditions that affect pregnancy, folic acid and vaccination planning, and honest advice on timing. It is the single most useful appointment most couples never book.

02

Gynaecology & Hormonal Health

Conditions that shape your cycle, your fertility and how you feel day to day.

PCOS / PMOS Care

Polycystic ovary syndrome affects cycles, skin, hair, weight and fertility — and it needs long-term management, not a single prescription. Dr. Heer builds a plan around your priorities, whether that is regular periods, conceiving, or getting metabolic risk under control.

Menstrual & Hormonal Health

Investigation and treatment of irregular, absent, heavy or painful periods, along with thyroid and hormonal imbalances. Heavy bleeding in particular is common, often normalised for years, and usually very treatable once the cause is identified.

Infertility & Reproductive Health

A structured evaluation for both partners — hormone profiling, ovulation tracking, tubal assessment and semen analysis — followed by a staged treatment plan. You will know what is being tested, why, and what each result means for your options.

Endometriosis Management

Endometriosis is frequently missed for years and dismissed as “bad period pain”. Dr. Heer offers proper diagnosis, medical management, and laparoscopic surgery where it is warranted — with attention to both pain relief and preserving fertility.

03

Gynaecological Surgery

Minimally invasive wherever possible — smaller incisions, shorter hospital stays and a faster return to normal life.

Laparoscopic Gynaecological Surgery

Keyhole surgery through a few small incisions for ovarian cysts, fibroids, ectopic pregnancy, endometriosis and diagnostic assessment. Compared with open surgery it usually means less pain, less blood loss, a shorter stay and a quicker recovery.

Hysteroscopic Surgery

A camera passed through the cervix lets Dr. Heer examine and treat inside the uterus with no external cut at all — used for polyps, submucous fibroids, adhesions, septa, abnormal bleeding and retained products.

Fibroid & Ovarian Cyst Management

Not every fibroid or cyst needs surgery. You will get a clear assessment of size, type and symptoms, a recommendation on whether to monitor, medicate or operate, and — if surgery is right — a discussion of what it means for future pregnancy.

Vaginal Hysterectomy / NDVH

Non-descent vaginal hysterectomy removes the uterus through the vagina, avoiding an abdominal incision entirely. For suitable patients it is the least invasive route available, with no visible scar and a notably easier recovery.

04

Life-Stage & Preventive Care

Care that follows you from adolescence through menopause, and screening that catches problems before symptoms start.

Adolescent Gynaecology

A sensitive, private first experience of gynaecology for teenagers — delayed or painful periods, irregular cycles, PCOS, acne and hirsutism, vaccination, and straightforward answers to questions that are difficult to ask.

Menopause Care

Guidance through perimenopause and beyond: relief for hot flushes, sleep disturbance and mood changes, discussion of hormone therapy where appropriate, and attention to the bone and cardiovascular health that matters for the decades that follow.

Pelvic Floor & Uro-gynaecology

Treatment for urinary leakage, urgency, recurrent urinary infections and pelvic organ prolapse. These problems are extremely common after childbirth and around menopause, rarely discussed, and far more treatable than most women expect.

Preventive Women's Health & Cancer Screening

Pap smears and HPV testing for cervical cancer, clinical breast examination and referral for mammography, pelvic ultrasound, HPV vaccination, and bone density assessment — a single yearly visit that covers the essentials.

Common Questions

Before You Book

The questions patients ask most often, answered plainly.

Do I need a referral to see Dr. Heer?

No. You can book an appointment directly by calling or messaging 82838 04197. If you already have reports, scans or a referral letter, bring them along — it makes the first consultation considerably more useful.

Which clinic should I visit?

Dr. Heer consults at Shalby Multispecialty Hospital, Phase 9, Sector 63, Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and holds an evening OPD at MediNest Clinic, Sector 66B, Aerocity, on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. For surgery or admission, Shalby is the right choice; for a routine consultation, pick whichever is closer.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Any previous prescriptions, blood reports, ultrasound or MRI scans, your vaccination record, and — if the visit concerns your cycle — rough dates for your last few periods. A note of the questions you want answered is genuinely helpful too.

Is laparoscopic surgery safe?

Laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery is well established and, for suitable patients, carries lower blood loss, less post-operative pain and a shorter recovery than open surgery. Whether it is right for you depends on your diagnosis, prior surgeries and anatomy — Dr. Heer will explain the trade-offs for your specific case before anything is decided.

Can I discuss a pregnancy plan before conceiving?

Yes, and it is strongly encouraged. A preconception consultation reviews your health, medication, vaccinations and any chronic conditions, and starts folic acid at the right time. It is particularly important if you have diabetes, thyroid disease, high blood pressure, or a history of miscarriage.

Does Dr. Heer treat teenagers?

Yes. Adolescent gynaecology is one of her areas of focus — covering delayed or painful periods, irregular cycles, PCOS, and HPV vaccination, in a setting designed to feel private and unhurried.
